On site are a florist, a chemist offering photographic processing services, Monsoon’s Nightclub, and the Grape Food Store and Tasting Room, which hosts complimentary premium wine tastings for guests on Thursdays from 5.30 PM – 7.30 PM. The 33-floor Grand Hyatt Plaza occupies two levels and has boutiques, bars, and a food court. Recreational facilities include a health club with indoor heated pool, sauna, steam room, solariums, spa tub, full tennis court and half tennis courts, and a fitness centre with aerobics studio and spinning classes. The Sanctuary health spa offers a wide selection of therapeutic treatments. For very young guests, the Grand Hyatt provides a complimentary VIB (“Very Important Baby”) pack consisting of suitable products such as soap, talc, and cream.

Business centre: Staffed from 9 AM–5 PM and open outside these hours via front desk staff. Comprising three personal computer workstations with high-speed Internet dataports. Other facilities available for a surcharge include secretarial services, courier, express mail service, facsimile, photocopying and printing. High-speed Internet access costs AU$40 per 12 hours. Secretarial services are AU$10 per page or AU$30 per hour for typing; and AU$40 per hour for personal dictation. Facsimile is available for AU$1– $5 for local faxes, a surcharge is added for interstate or international faxes. Photocopying is AU$0.40–$1 per A4 page, and printing is AU$ 0.50–$1.00 per page.

Internet access: High-speed Internet access is available for a surcharge in the business centre. Wireless and high-speed Internet access is available throughout the conference/meeting rooms for a surcharge. Throughout the public areas such as the lobby, bars, and café, wireless Internet access is available for a surcharge.

Conference/function rooms: The 20 function/meeting rooms, including two ballrooms, cover an area of 2,080 square metres in total, and can accommodate groups of 10–1,500. Considerable flexibility exists for combining rooms to create larger spaces. A substantial amount of breakout and exhibition space is also available. The Savoy Ballroom is the largest function space at 1,050 square metres and can accommodate 1,500 guests for a cocktail reception. The Bristol Room, at 32 square metres, is the smallest function area, and suitable for 10 guests for a theatre-style presentation.
